A licensed game which I began working on before the studio was made redundant. Despite my personal reservations on lisenced titles I was looking forward to the potential offered to me as an artist on a game based on a show as lively and vivid as Spongebob Squarepants (that and I am personally a fan of the show.)

To make the game's visuals more authentic I was experimenting with using painted backdrops and menu screens to recreate the look of the show. I had also made attempts to animate the sprites in the same way too but found it to be tiresome for relatively little payoff for sprites that small.
